Momeneh Foroutan

Momeneh (Sepideh) Foroutan received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Molecular Genetics from Iran in 2010 and 2012 respectively. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in the University of Melbourne Department of Surgery, St. Vincent’s Hospital, and is a member of Davis' lab at the Bioinformatics division of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI). Her research interests include the Epithelial-Mesenchymal Plasticity (EMP) in cancer metastasis, circulating tumor cells (CTCs), and cancer development. She applies computational and bioinformatics approaches to answer biological questions in these fields.
